Super congrats for going through day one, hang in there, you're in withdrawal and that's not an easy time. Drink a lot of water at least 48 ouces a day. Chew gum, ( cinnamon is good) or use cinnamom sticks, you can also chew on straws cut the length of a cig. Take very good care of yourself, nap if you can, or get to bed early. You deserve to do this for yourself ,so do what it takes to get through this, it will pass promise. :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 140 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,106 Amount Saved: $560 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 12 Mins: 26 Seconds: 34

It will get easier. Drink a lot of water or juices. Breath and breath. You will see a lot of post that tell you to breath and drink a lot of water, it does help. I use to walk on my breaks and lunch hour when I worked. If you can get up from your desk and take a short walk around the office. Tell them that you have quit and that you may need to take a short walk. Hopefully they will understand. I use to go to bed, it made me feel safe. Or take a bath and put you PJs on. Then you won't be tempted to make a run for a pack. Do whatever, just don't smoke. Hey Super - Hit the sack early tonight. Quitting is very emotionally and physically draining. Plus, you may find you need a little bit more sleep to stay strong! Drink at least 6 water bottles a day and keep moving. It will work and will also keep you hydrated and feeling "full". You're doing great! Your body is going through a lot, so be really gentle to yourseld and Reward for every day you don't smoke. Stay away from the stores that sell cigs ! Get your licorice or whatever you're using instead of the sticks. Fight hard!
