Fast heart rate!

I also have had a fast heart rate in the past. Several years ago my heart rate was going as high as 190 beats per minute. I actually had to be put on a beta blocker to control it. I was convinced I was going to die and didn't believe it when the doctor told me it was due to anxiety. Since then I have come to find out it was because of panic and anxiety. Anxiety can do some really weird things to you physcially as well as mentally. Don't worry to much about your fast heart rate my heart acted up for several years and then out of the blue straighten up and now beats normally without any medication.

Mine is around 110 all the time, I know it sucks and it makes it hard to not have panic attacks when you heart rate is always up.

I just had a physical last week and had an EKG taken. I too have a very fast heart rate, but the doctor said it was nothing to be concerned about. It can be caused by a number of things, anxiety for one. Also, smoking causes an increased heart rate, as does not exercising (if that makes sense). The better shape you're in, the lower your heart rate. I would check with your physician, but I am sure it is caused by anxiety. Also, what made me feel better is that my dr. says she also has a very fast heartrate.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone else has a fast pulse. Mine almost always seems to be around 110-130 even when on medication and I€™m feeling relaxed. Does anyone else have the same issues with this? I bought a home heart monitor and oxygen thing and no matter what I do my heart is always beating fast it doesn€™t bother me cause I don€™t pay no mind to it. Just wondering€¦..
