Which drugs can I take and have alcohol

Susan, I dont think anyone here would be in a position to recommend drinking with any drugs. It is something you need to discuss with your doctor, ie how much alcohol you intend to drink if you want one, two or however many glasses of wine. Also I have seen plenty get panic attacks while drinking alcohol, thinking it was going to relax them, only to magnify the symptoms to a full blown attack.

I have gradually weaned off Cipramil and am using Buspirone to help. However, it really is doing me in that I can't drink alchohol with them. I'm not and never have been a big drinker but I enjoy wine and come from a wine background. I sometimes think I won't take any Buspirone and just rely on alcohol to relax me but then worry that if I do get over anxious then I can't take Buspirone because I have already been drinking. Please can someone tell me how they deal with this and if they are taking a drug that allows alcohol. I'm going to see my doctor next week and want to be able to make some suggestions.
