First of all I want to say that "I love you Mr. Ed!" Your posts always make me smile. Especially when you clip-clop on the parades. Your silly. Anyway, I bought myself a micro dermabrasion kit! It is a woman thing. It is suppose exfoliates my skin and makes wrinkles go away. I will let you know if it really works! Good question Mr. Ed. This morning my stats said I've saved $196.00 but it will be more now because of the exorbitant cost to smoke here. So far, I've spent $65.00 on art books and kilonsky sable paintbrush. $7.00 for lunch and bus fare to the beach. The rest of my savings are coming with me today for a new "do" and a classy up to date business suit. I've got so much extra time since I'm not smoking that I've decided once I've finished my meds and start sleeping like a human being again, I'm going to become self-sufficient and get a full time job to go with my new life. My real reward though is looking at this: Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 16 Mins: 7 Seconds: 30 The rewards are endless for me and the sky's the limit! :) Pat My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 582 Amount Saved: $196 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 16 Mins: 49 Seconds: 8

Okay, my quit meter says I've saved over $120. My husband quit the same time I did and smoked about the same number of cigarettes per day, so between the two of us, we've saved about $240. What have we spent? My bicycle: $78 His plane ticket to go with me on a week-long business trip over Valentine's Day: $209 Total: $287 Oops! Went a little over! :D One of the coolest things about this trip is: WE RESERVED A NON-SMOKING ROOM! Wooohooo! I bought a new purse too! Ya know why? Because I reached down to the bottom of my old one to scrounge for change and came up with a handful of tobacco. EWWWWWWW!! My meter says $174.25 after 41 days. I just want to keep saving the money because once I reach $600.00 saved I will buy my equines a cart so I can drive them. Great rewards for you, Mr. Ed! Congratulations! I have been putting $50 in cash every Wednesday into a beautiful, specially-purchased jar on my nightstand. I cheated a little for Christmas, but have put back most of it. I now have over $900 in cash in the jar -- woohoooooooo!!! For my six month reward in early April, I'm planning a golf getaway, probably to Arizona. I'm definitely needing some sunshine and green greens! Can't wait! I MAY even invite my husband, but I don't know. He's a smoker and I really don't hang with smokers any more. They smell so bad! Keep the faith, all!
