Love the reward!! (yelling for hubby....honey...I know what I want for my next reward!!!!)
Congratulations on the baby and your 210 days of being smoke free. They are both exciting accomplishments. Go ahead, rant, rave, scream, yell, throw things (not the new boots) and cry if you have to...just don't smoke...not today, not tomorrow and not after the baby is born....think of a great reward for yourself after the baby is born that you can get instead of smoking.
Congratulations again, and crave the quit!

wow you want a smoke your not alone! but as i have said before give me 3 good reasons to have one and I would gladly join you but after asking myself that Question i couldnt come up with one, I chuckled when i asked others to answer this question at work, got some answers but I explained to them actual facts. I have two children and their mother is no longer here I dont relish the idea of leaving prematurely for both are sakes, your child hasnt looked at you but i am sure you would rather have him or her see you as a non smoker.

Hello Mrs Payfer - You have done so well and you have done this for your baby's health. Perhaps you are starting to feel a little wobbly as you see your pregnancy ending and will be staying quit for some different reasons (i.e. for you!)
I haven't been a Mom but I resent how much my addiction has taken away from the time that I spent with my nieces and nephews. I was often sitting there stressed because I couldn't smoke instead of enjoying every minute that I had with them. Don't let a nasty addiction take away from your enjoyment of this brand new family member.
Sometimes we forget how important it is to take care of ourselves in order to maintain our quit. Rewards will continue to be important even after the baby is born.
Congratulations on 210 successful days! Good for you!
Windy

Hi Mrs Payfer,
Well done on not smoking and doing what us ladies love to do best - buy shoes! You're a girl after my own heart, as we say in Britain.
Thanks for the warning that the fight against addiction can rear its ugly head any time. I'm prepared!! Well done to you on successfully avoiding the Nicodemon.

I am 9 months pregnant and have not had a cig since I found out I was pregnant. It has been very easy up until this point. I have been wanting to smoke off and on since arount Thanksgiving and it's driving me crazy! My addict brain is telling me only 1 more month and then I can smoke again. SICK SICK SICK. My Dad is fighting lung cancer (from smoking) right now, chemo treatments, lost his hair and is very sick. You'd think I'd get it............but that ole Nicodemon is a SOB! I finally got smart and bought myself a reward this weekend - new suede boots. Then I put up Christmas decorations around the house and today I feel much better. I will not give in. I don't want my son to EVER see me smoke. I know I'm rambling but I think my point is that don't forget to use the tools SSC has taught us - REWARDS & VENTING!
Happy Holidays
Elizabeth :)
