Hi Ericon, Great to see you back in to say hi, was just asking yesterday if anyone had seen you. Been missing you around here! Guess I don't "need" to come here so much anymore but I still like to check in everyday. Working on weight loss now so have joined another support group and spending more time there. Chaos is not so little anymore. Wow I can't believe how much she's grown compared to that pic I posted here when I first brought her home. She loves to go for walks which has helped me start getting some exercise! Ok now I have to put something in here about smoking...I really don't too often think about it anymore. I had a crave yesterday but I really think it just goes hand in hand with PMS for me...when it gets close I crave all sorts of things and that is one of them. Other than that on a day to day basis, unless my temper is flaring i don't really think about it. 8 more days until its 6 months for me!! Hey! Hi girls!! How nice to hear from you Ericon. I've hit the six month mark and feel fabulous!!!!! I hardly ever even think about smoking now. I'm feeling really strong in the quit, as you are, I'm sure. How wonderful it is to have cracked it!!!! I have also been getting rid of the extra weight - about time, really! Glad to say that it hasn't been too difficult, once I put my mind to it. Once you've quit the ciggies, all other things seem quite easy, don't they? Anyway - big hugs to all Augustines! Hi all my lovelys, Well I have missed all you guys. I do not come around much. Life has been go go go since awh October. Life is good. I am surprised how little I think about smoking, even with the smokey hubby. It stinks. Love being free from it. At this point though I still remember the pain of it. Pain of smoking( I guess cuz I see it in hubby) and the agony of quiting. Ericon, I hope you are hanging in there. I would bet moving would be hard. You have come so far. Besides no smoking at a new house. Just would not be right. Keep it smoke free zone always. Well maybe I will get to chat with some of you soon. Lots of Love Grace My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 193 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,879 Amount Saved: $772 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 1 Mins: 50 Seconds: 34

So good to hear from everyone! I've been so busy moving to a new house this week. The packing, cleaning, loading, unpacking . . . Couple times I wanted to pull my hair out! And then the demon rears his head - - "have a smoke, it will help". NO IT WON'T! Still smoke-free but wow, am amazed that I've had those urges lately. So am trying to get back on site as much as possible during the turmoil of relocating. Thanks for the replys, it helps reinforce my quit. Think I'll run out for some of NMC's crazy hot chili spices!! :8o: Ericon My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 172 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,032 Amount Saved: $1247 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 9 Mins: 19 Seconds: 55

Yup, no smoking in the new house is RIGHT! Got parents coming to visit in early March though, both chain-smokers (parents . . .). Haven't seen them since I quit and they have never visited with having to go outside to smoke. Why am I stressing on this now? It's not for a couple weeks yet and I must call & gently TELL THEM they cannot smoke in the new house. Have been thinking about it a lot, why do I feel like a little kid about it? Never had that happen before . . . I swear this moving has really messed with me emotionally. Absolutely love this house, and it's like, our 5th one so am very confused on why I feel so disconnected . . . or whats a better word . . . so, so . . . ah, unfocused, er . . . more like the attention span of a knat. Reminds me of hell week. Hell, think I'll just go stand over there & have a hot flash . . . Hey everyone; Finally we've got the computer up & running. I pestered hubby to get online a few days back but we had to tear it apart again & move it to a different room. So have been gone awhile. This move is such an unsettling experience - - love our new house but can't find anything! Still fighting the odd crave once in awhile but recognize it as just wanting "something" to take the stress away. I do very well, no craving at all, not even a thought - when I am in a routine. But wow, once I am under stress in new situations I feel like I've lost all coping mechanisms. Humbling to be sure. Hope all is well with my fellow Augustines. Looking forward to catching up with all. Ericon P.S. Sillyme - little Chaos has grown so much! Bet she keeps you hopping!
