Oh people who are contemplating quitting, just do it. It is so worth it. I just came back from a 3 day spa in Idaho Springs, CO and it was so worth it. This was a slightly early 6 month reward for me. I have been planning this for a month.
I started out with a mud bath and omg it was to die for. My skin felt so soft afterwords. I did feel weird playing in mud considering I yelled at my boys when they were younger and playing in the mud (different mud though). Next I went hot tubbing under the stars and on the mountain side secluding and private. My daughter and I just talked and talked and talked. It was wonderful. The next morning we walked and walked around the old mining town and shopped lol. Now that was fun. Anyways, then we went and soaked in the hot mingeral swimming pool which is indoors and absolutely awesome. I would recommend it for anyone. Then after that I had a massage to work out all the stress in my upper back and neck for the past 6 months. Now that was wonderful.
As for anyone contemplating quitting, Just do it. It is so worth it. Rewards are such a great way to keep the mind on the right path. I did feel like a minority at the spa because there was a lot of smokers. But guess what? They are the ones standing outside while I was inside enjoying myself. They are the ones who really stunk (and I was starting to miss my stinky husband NOT). I did not crave once for some reason. What was I then? ANGRY. I was honestly angry because the nicodemon had a hold on all these people and they didn't even know it. It was sad watching them having fun in the hot springs pool to run outside and have a smoke while their kids had to wait for them to get back. SAD .
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving as I am so very thankful for my quit and all my quit buddies here. THANKS!!
Hugs
Kim
PS I think I may actually make it through the holidays not wigging out like I thought (some of you know the situation). Love ya all
