"If you are never scared, embarrassed or hurt, it means you never take chances." Julia Soul Actress This little quote has applied to me during this quit. I was so scared when I quit smoking. I was afraid my life would fall apart and I would loose who I am. I was so embarrassed to admit I was addicted to nicotine. I was also embarrased to tell all of you how I flubbed up the 3 quits. But look at me today!! I took that chance to do it and BAM! I have 2 more days and I reach the 70th mark!! YIPPEEE!!! So, take that chance and see what happens!! =) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 683 Amount Saved: $136 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 0 Mins: 33 Seconds: 58

Your quit has been impressive, indeed! You have so much to be proud about. I don't know what we would do without your teas and sweets...starve to death, I imagine! Congratulations on a most admirable quit! Hey Duckie Heartfelt congratulations on 68 days!!!!! You are brilliant. Can I reply also with another quote from Goethe - it goes Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it Aren't you you just delighted that you begun - I know I am. All the best to you. Me too Duckie. I collect them. I visit a chirorpactor regularly and his wall is covered in some great quotes and he keeps changing them too. So I'm often taking notes while waiting for a treatment. I love the way a quote can just sum up the exact thing you want to express and they can be really inspirational and powerful. I see that you are also on 69 days now Duckie - that's fantastic. Tomorrow is actually 10 WHOLE WEEKS - WOW!!!! I hope you plan to celebrat that in style. All the best Sharon Belfast My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 46 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 463 Amount Saved: 123.74 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 21 Mins: 31 Seconds: 22
