Thanks Cheermom, It was funny, when I was in my car this morning, I was wishing I had internet access so I could post a quick message during that low time...unfortunately, I don't know if I'm made to multi-task to that extent (drive and text message at the same time) :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 29 Amount Saved: $5.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 2 Mins: 54 Seconds: 7

Hello All, I actually did really good yesterday, then this morning came, I knew I was doing to good to be true.....I yelled at the husband, the daughter, the son, the dog and the cat.....(ok, not the cat...), but the rest of the family felt my wrath....My kids, since they have been through this before, know what to expect the first week and were actually giggling at my "altered state of mind"....finding a pair of socks that actually matched for my son in the sock basket of hell was enough to almost send me into divorce court! So on the way to work, I stopped, purchased a pack, smoked a 1/2 a cig and threw the rest of the pack out the window. So my altered state is better temporarily....I really really hate these cancer sticks!!!!! I'm going to do this, I'm not giving up, and I'm not switching my quit meter yet...I have to do this!!!!! thanks for listening! :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 29 Amount Saved: $5.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 2 Mins: 52 Seconds: 31

Lina, Take the time to prepare yourself for those stops to the store! Have coping mechanisms ready and use those avoidance techniques. It is great to see that you have so much support. Perhaps make a reward for the whole family and then a reward for you as well. Plan your rewards and use them when you reach a milestone! This will help you reach your goals! Post often and let us help you through :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
