HELP: Trying to up my dose of Lexapro

I would stick with whatever the doctor prescribes to you. If that's the 7.5, then go with that. If the side effects are too much for you, then you should tell your doctor about them and he'll probably cut you back down to 5. Do whatever makes you feel best and try to keep a journal or something that reminds you of how you fealt the previous day, week, etc. Hope that helps. Dennis

I was on 2.5mg Lexapro for a week, and 5mg for 3 weeks. I have been on 7.5mg Lexapro for three nights now. During the day I am SO tired, I can bearly keep my eyes open. I remember being this way when I started at 2.5 weeks ago, and it didn't last too long, but I am worried about this. I am a hair dresser and I have to stand up and do hair all day I feel like I'm asleep standing up!! Almost like I'm not really there, foggy vision, skin crawling, it's giving me more anxiety feeling this way. Should I up my dose to 10mg. Or maybe back off to 5mg?? Any advice would be appreciated!!
