I am going to my six year old's school today for a parent-teacher confrence and for the first time I am not worrying about smelling like a cigarette. I am very proud of myself.

I have my + on today! I made it home from a 5 hour car trip without pulling my hair out, biting my nails, or chewing my lip, tongue or any other part of my mouth off. Sunflower seeds live in my vehicle these days - at least for the long trips. What else am I happy about today? I'm happy to be warm in my nice, cozy house when the cold north wind is howling outside. And... I'm happy to have found the SSC! You know what else? I'm happy to have 60 days tomorrow, and I'm especially happy that I don't smoke! I still sometimes can hardly believe I quit. Mine today was a biggie. I got some details in about the holiday my daughter and I are taking to Tunisia in the summer. My mate ( a smoking one!) was there as I was jumping up and down with glee and she was like "How can you afford it" shaking her head. But as I pointed out to her, from the time I quit until the time that holiday comes around, I will have saved by not smoking, both the basic cost of the holiday PLUS the spedning money needed. She and her hubby are BOTH heavy smokers (and like to party/drink as well) and the green tinge on her face was pretty obvious. Good day for daughter and I. And NO guilt. What we focus on grows - I really believe this so it follows that I should encourage myself to think about things that have a big plus sign. The best thing that happened to me today is that I got a new sauna installed in my garden - it doesn't work yet because it isn't hooked up to electricity but it looks so lovely and smells like a forest. And I could smell it even better because I am smoke free :) What is the best thing that has happend for you today? Have you got your plus on?? C'mon folks - lets whip up a storm of good stuff.
