So I read Allen Carr's book last week, and everything clicked. I threw away my cigarettes and didn't look back... for about five days. This morning, all I could think about was going to the store and buying a pack. I haven't had too many problems with withdrawals, but I find myself suffering from one weird symptom that I can't find much mention. I call it "jitterbugging", and when it hits, it feels like your arms and/or legs weirdly elastic, and *sproing*.. like they're going to curl up on themselves. Is that normal? Also, would something like Chantix help with that, or do I just have to muscle through it? Help... I also quit using Allen Carr's "Method"... Re-read the book if you have too. I am about through my 3rd day and so far so great. If I hit a bump on day 5, I am coming to look for you... :) I am using no medications or NRT's. The only issue I have had other than feeling like I am in the Twilight Zone, is waking up earlier than normal. I don't know the read, but I am starting to figure out the deal. Smoking neve did a damn thing for me. 24 years I committed to smoking and it never gave back to me...well other than the obvious b.s. of coughing and feeling like sh*t. That's what I got out of smoking. Now...lets talk about the real deal. Come here. Post, read, react, be for real...FOR YOU NOT ME. I'm not going to smoke...You? Manny, This may be quit related anxiety creeping up so get up and get moving. Try a little physical activity and see if that helps make you feel better. Follow it up with a distraction and before you know it this feeling will have passed and then it will be time for a reward! Yay! Chantix is a great aid. If you'd like to know more about it, talk to your doctor. You've done great without is so far, keep going! Danielle _________________________ The SSC Support Team
