On Tuesday it will be one year since I took the big plung.
It has not been easy, I still think about a cigarette now and then. I guess the thinking never completely goes away. I don't have anyone around me that smokes, so when I get the feeling I just wait a few minutes and it goes away.
I stopped smoking because i was going on a vacation to San Fransico last May. Since then I added Europe in October and Egypt in December. Not smoking makes travelling so much easier. We are going to St. Martin in April, so I have to stay smoke free.
I have emphazima and the doctor says I definately should never smoke again. That plus not wanting to smoke around my cats (they are my babies) is enough reasons to stay smoke free.
To all the people just starting their journey. Be patient, it is a long struggle but worth it.
I want to thank all the people who gave me positive feed back whenever I was having a low period. It really helped get me through the rough patches. Will keep checking in.
Thanks again.
