Valic,
It's ok. Did it taste utterly disgusting and give absolutely no satisfaction? You know how to be honest. You reset a meter of 98 days. I agree with Penitent, forget about the beach...how anticlimatic!! You knew it would be a let down because it doesn't exist. Your body knows the important stat..LIFE GAINED and that has hardly changed with one slip. You are right back on track. Chin up. Us newbies need you.

Admirable attitude and only too realistic. It could very easily have been the starting point again. Proud of you that it is not. Impressed that you know to watch. Don't be too hard on yourself. You did incredibly and that only shows that you will again.

Dang - You mean this beach doesn't really exist!!?? I wondered how come there was so much snow.
Valic - You are right - I think there are certain milestones in our quit that really challenge us and we have to find a way to get through them. One day at a time is such a great philosophy...
Thinking of you....

Right well I am not going to sit and doddle. I will be back on my quit Monday. I am not smoking but I need some time to figure out why I can't make 100 days. And I need to think of new ideas. I only had 1 cig yesterday but I can't be slipping. Stress at work, I tried everything but I could not get away. Came home stress at home. Working 2 jobs is not helping. Trying to buy a house... and I know only had 1 but if I don't set my meter back I might have only one again, ya know. Thats just me. And of course these excuses are no excuses. So Again I am NOT smoking but need to reset my quit plan. And come up with stuff when I finally make the beach. I am going to use this time wisely re-read Allan Carr and re-write my reasons. Make my resolve to kick Nicodemon's behind. At least my husband is not too disappointed in me, he only sees it as a mistake.. I see it as a starting point for half a pack a day. Ok enough, I will be back on Monday, ready to go, SMOKE FREE. Thanks to everyone. I will be back!!! ~Valic

Well Done valic for meeting it head on and preparing with such vigour to do it once more. Do not set the bar too high, forget "The Beach", it's imaginary anyway. Just think of getting through Monday as positively as possible and then turn your attention to Tuesday - one day at a time, I really do mean that and come here for all the help an advice you can glean. Listen to me, "YOU CAN DO THIS"
My Best Wishes
