Hey guys I decided to try to quit smoking the other day but tonight i'm having worse cravings i've had in a long time its going to be a long night, but when I went to the grocery store I didnt buy cigs I got jolly ranchers, dum dums etc anything to keep my hands working because I want to make this quit attempt work this time. If anyone is on ssc im tonight and want to chat i'm up for it. Well off to watch a movie listen to music or something to keep my mind off smoking....

Mjbcards, That's it! You're doing it! Keep your hands, mouth and head occupied and you'll get through today. Don't forget to sneak in a reward for staying smoke free. The first week is the toughest, hang in there! Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

mjb....you can bet that the first few days of quitting are the worst. Keep reading and posting here.....remember that quitting is just a choice.....a choice to not light up at the moment. Just make your commitment to right now. don't look "too" far ahead....keep up the small rewards of the candy, etc....and plan some bigger rewards for like the 3rd day?? the 7th day?? and always believe and trust....you CAN get through this withdrawal....it DOES begin to be easier....finally you will taste the freedom.
