Wendi, you've made it 12 days, I am on 16th hour, and I have one cigarette in my pocket with a lighter and for the past 4 hours I keep saying is this a good time to smoke the last one, and I keep waiting, Maybe I will go to bed with it,

I was doing pretty good this morning but not so good now. Today is the first day back with the daycare children and boy are they pushing the buttons today. They usually are a little more "crazy" after a long break, trying to get back on routine and all but with that and me alittle more.....lets say sensitive, Lord help us all. Thank goodness Rob is still home so I can jump on here for a few minutes, what a life saver. You know I was wondering how "helpful" this site would be for me when Rob told me about it but you know what......This is GREAT! When I feel like I want to give up there is so many of you that give support and when I get into one of those blah moods there is always someone there to make me smile and giggle a little. Happy New Year guys and keep it up My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 361 Amount Saved: $56 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 2 Mins: 47 Seconds: 1

I wouldn't even do that. Take it out now and smash it up. Just remember that when you take a hit off it, it will be like starting all over again. I wouldn't want to do my first 16 hours over for anything! There is a little saying I see on here a lot and it is so true..... N.O.P.E. Not One Puff Ever. You are stronger than that little thing in your pocket. Show it who is boss now. You are! Hang in there....... Hi guys...just checking in. Hard sort of a bad day today but didn't "cheat" or anything. Still can't get these stupid thoughts out of my head that the fight isn't worth it. I know it is but man that voice can get loud! I have walked so much in my neighborhood that the people around here are starting to think I have lost it. My legs hurt so bad, didn't realize I was this out of shape. I have read, walked, showered (till I'm all pruney), it seems everything. Any really out there idea's to help. Seems I have done all the normal things and don't want to just throw away 2 weeks of really hard work. Thanks My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 322 Amount Saved: $48 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 22 Mins: 55 Seconds: 54

Thank you so much. It is raining out but getting wet is better than smoking. The walks is the best thing we (hubby and I) have found to get rid of that nasty crave. And we get to spend some of that much needed time alone together to just talk and be calm. Thanks again for everyones support. Thank you guys for all your support. My cousin is going to start her quit tonight at midnight (which by the way is mine and Robs 2 week quit ann.) she is going to need all the support she can get. Her husband isn't very supportive of this but I told her with the help of this site she could do it so please watch for her. Her name is Pokey. Thanks again, your all great. Had a good day today (lots of walking again) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 338 Amount Saved: $52 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 0 Mins: 1 Seconds: 54

Thank you so much Kaitilina. It is so nice to hear that I am not along in this cranky part of it. I don't even know if cranky is the right word. Hateful beast might be more like it. Thank you for your support and it helps to know that is really won't last forever. I will have my kids read this too so they can see they aren't the only ones either. Thanks again so much..
