Little Sam, little buddy, here's the deal: we're never "there." Worst thing is that milestones will kill us. I was in the gym today, running farther than I had ever run in my life, thinking, "If I ever want to put a cigarrete in my mouth ever again in my life I should be shot," and then, at dinner with spouse, trying to plan the Christmas stuff, I get totally stressed and long for a Marlboro or Camel. Never goes away, but our resolve gets stronger every day. We learn to trust the resolve and to blow off the sick urges.
