Just curious. Do you or someone you know suffer from panic attacks?

Well thank you! We do what we do because we have a passion for it. We care about those who suffer from panic disorders. As for the brains behind it, Dr. Peter Farvolden, a researcher and therapist in active practice, led a team, and in conjunction with Van Mierlo Communications, designed the site and tools. Without advertising, the site began to grow on its own. As psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors as well as professional associations discovered The Panic Center, they have been referring their patients to the site. It not only reinforces the active therapy that goes on in the office setting, but also provides tools and support that people without insurance, for instance, do not have. Big corporate sponsors have taken notice and are in contact with us. This message was edited by am on 8-12-03 @ 10:44 PM

I would like to thank the folks that designed and maintain this program--but I was just wondering why you do it. Are you pre-med students? Are you trying to gain experience in psychology? Do you get corporate funding?
