Wow, Jaden, you are doing great! That feeling of strong, powerful, and free is wonderful! Just remember that there are good days and bad days in this quit journey and be prepared for anything.
What exactly happened when you drank the red bull with a patch on? I have not read anything on this here, and I've read a LOT of posts looking for inspiration in the written page.
Keep up the great work, you do so deserve the freedom!

My side effects to mixing the 2 were dizziness and heart palpitations. It felt like a horrible anxiety attack that I wasn't sure I would come out of.. it was awful and scary enough to never drink a red bull or put on a patch if I can help it every again.
I have had some strange side effects from the patch and the heart palpitations and dizziness were part of them... usually in the morning when I first put it on, I felt almost high... but nothing that sever before.
Thank you everyone for your support and I know that there will be hard days... I am having a mild one today... come on Tuesday... lol!!!
Ok... you will all be happy to know that I made it through my company Christmas party.. I had 4 glasses of wine, got a pretty happy thing going on and didn't even think about a smoke. Actually turned my nose up at the smell of the smokers walking in from outside.
If that isn't enough... I went to work #2 on Saturday and had a very scary experience (drank a red bull with a patch on... never ever do that) I pulled my patch off... and I haven't put one back on since.
I am into day 3 nicoderm free and feeling fine. I keep a patch in my purse at all times but I have yet to need it.
Does anyone know how many days it takes to stop the physical cravings?
So I made it through my first night of drinking... and I am now into my 3rd day of cold turkey... I feel strong... I feel powerful and I feel free.

Josie is right!
The cravings will stop on a Tuesday.
We are not sure exactly which one so just keep going from Tuesday to Tuesday and let me know when they stop!

Jaden,
This is great success! Your physical cravings will subside over time and there is no exact time or date, though many members claim it is a Tuesday!
It is great that you continue to keep prepared for any situation that may arise. Continue sharing with us and let us help guide you. You will be celebrating 30 days soon and this is commendable :)
Keep Strong,
Josie
