Hi Kristie and welcome...
The fact that you can and DO go w/out smoking around your non-smoking friends says a great deal... it says that you KNOW you can do it.
You only need two things... 1) your desire to Quit must be stronger than your desire to light up, and 2) N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever)
If you can make these commitments, no matter what, you will have a successful Quit.
Stay close to this site and go back and read as many old posts as you can. You need to build a toolbox of coping skills and make sure to have a mental list of distractions to take you away from craves and tough times... I found an old toothbrush and bleach works wonders in the bathroom :)
Stay focused on your commitment! You can do this...
Blessings-
