Hi beanie_26 and a warm welcome... This is definitely a part of the process for most quitters... Doing some exercising helped me sleep at night (I did mall walking late in the day and that helped lots)... There are also natural remedies that may help you BUT always make sure to read labels and check w/your doc... Meditation, a soothing bath with candles, soft music - what a wonderful opportunity to go deeper and find out what soothes your body, mind and spirit. Stay close and surround yourself with the things and people you love... Hang in there beanie_26. The first week is the hardest. That's why we call it Hell Week. Be sure to look at and utilize all the tools in your Glove Compartment. Have a plan to distract yourself when the craves hit. Lot's of water and lot's of deep breathing help. It DOES get better! Welcome Beanie.. You found a great support group here that can help make your quit a sucess. Stay strong and you will pull through this. One thing I've been doing is using a toothpick in my mouth like a cig, might sound strange but its working.. Give it a try. Beanie, Welcome to our support community. What you are feeling is normal and it will take some time to get your body back on track. Your body is healing itself and getting rid of all the toxins. Take the time to look around and see the difference the program can make. The tips and tools will guide you through and the member can also be of great assistance. Try using relaxation techniques and ease into your sleep. Start everyday fresh and know that we can help :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
