Thanks for a tip. Yes, she is at home at least during summer. And this problem of being very "glued" to her is quite new for me in the sense that I used to be able to be without her at home. It started in May, I think, after I started lowering the dose of my medication. We will start doing this right away. Thanks again, Iwona.

Just a suggestion here. Is your mom always home? What if she were to step out and you were to remain alone for ten minutes? Then you could lengthen the time gradually. You could then sit outside alone while she leaves the house. Not for long periods, but a little at a time, gradually increasing the time period.

As quite a few of you, I have the problem of getting independent of my safety people. How should I prepare my exposure to challenge this? I am doing my "standing in the front of my building" task at the moment and I am somehow able to do this on myself but I still need my mum or boyfriend to be at home "in case". It's very annoying. And I prefer one of them to be at home with me or go far places with me. Or even not so far places, as you can imagine. Any tips would be really appreciated. Thanks. Iwona
