Hi Sissy,
88 smoke free days is fantastic and I know it seems like such a long time because you work so hard for each and every day...but as a whole, 88 days is a very short time...especially in comparison to how long most of us smoked. Is it normal to still think of smoking? In my opinion...Absolutely. I even posted about it once...

This is the part that takes a conscious effort to really change for a lifetime. Practicing such things as distraction, different activities, etc., will "re-program" your brain... literally. Practice makes (nearly) perfect. Depending on each individual, things may change very quickly, or they make take a while. Either way, one thing we know for sure, if we want it bad enough... it DOES happen. We really do get to a point that we feel normal without the thoughts of smoking badgering us...and if a thought creeps in..bah..it's no big deal :)
You're doing a great job. Don't ever give up. :)
