Fancy dinners, and new outfits, and air fresheners, and car washes, and new pillows, and uhm.. yeah, we didn't need anything when we were smoking. I could have been flat on my rear broke with no gasoline in the car, and feading the kids ramen noodles for dinner, but if I had cigrettes I was a rich woman. LOL Though - In all honesty - the month before I quit my business was doing really really well, and it just so happened to fall on it's face right when I quit, so I was broke.. I meen, broke for a few weeks and that was a very hard obstacle to make it through. Like I said, if I had ciggies - i was rich. Wanted some damned ciggies because being poor is no fun. bgainshunter, I have a reward for my 6 month, I've already made my down payment with money saved from smoking I'm taking my daughter and daughter in-law to new york for thanksgiving. We are leaving all the men folks and kids home. I'm looking so forward to it. I'll have to wait till its 7 months to go but its worth it noel My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 137 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,748 Amount Saved: $411 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 10 Mins: 58 Seconds: 31

.. all I know is, there is big money to be gained when quitting in the UK ( because cigs are very expensive here). But it is worth quitting anywhere! BG, ABSOLUTELY! Reward yourself at every milestone :) Make a list of rewards, cheap or expensive and choose from it every time you reach a milestone. You have a lot of choices BG, choose them all if you want! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
