Ive had this kinda dream too. In my dream its my birthday and my friends and family are throwin a party for me, suddenly a faceless person comes into the the room while everyone is singing happy birthday to you. Someone shouts blow out the candles, i bend forward to blow out the candles and to my horror i see they are lit cigarettes..... 49 of them, and youve guessed it ... I cant blow them out. Wonder what it means. Weird and kinda spooky. AL
Those "Nic" dreams are something else aren't they? I've dreamed that my husband was laying out cigarettes throughout the house for me. A few here a few there, a couple packs here, a carton there. I'd see them and say to myself, "Well, I guess he doesn't mind then, oooKKKK"! But at the same time when I'm gathering them up, I feel sooo nervous about smoking it as I put one to my lips and start to light it, when I suddenly woke up. It's rather amusing once you think about it. :)
Hello all of you,
It's not weird or anything. The dream can help to cope with cigarets. Like you sometimes dream about a person who has past away. The dream helps you to say goodbye to a ciggy. It's a sign that the body is healing. :) There is a word for such dreams but I don't know the translation. Mayby if one of you speaks Dutch: Verwerkingsdroom. It's something like: get over it or something...lol.

Hey everyone,
Never had dreams like this before. About a month ago, I dream i am sitting in a room with other people and this guy walks in and starts handing out cigaretes. I say no thanks and one lands on my lap. I wake up.
Yesterday I dream this person is chasing me saying "have a smoke, have a smoke" I wake up, fall back to sleep and it continues with him saying "have a puff". I never see the persons face although I am constantly running away.
Kinda funny when you think about it :)

Edgefan,
Don't worry, you are not alone! Many quitters have smoking dreams.
Try thinking of something else repeatedly before falling asleep. You may think of that instead.
Keep persevering,
Danielle

babelfish translates Verwerkingsdroom = processing dream
makes sense...the dreams are a way for us to process subconsiously what we're trying to deal with consiously.
Personally, I'm glad they stopped! :) They were so realistic I'd wake up disappointed with myself. The relief when I realized it was a dream was amazing!
