I think smoking actually sucked alot of the passion out of my life. I was so consumed with when/ how long/ where...that I forgot to enjoy life. My new passions are yoga, my new kitten, getting up early in the morning and going to the gym and green tea. I hope my future passions will include white water rafting, running far and fast, enjoying every minute with those children in my life that a growing up so fast and living every moment! Swimming! When I was still smoking, I didn't swim very much because whenever I did, my lungs would get tight and sometimes, I would start wheezing and I would ALWAYS cough when I swam, and swimming made me feel guilty for smoking, so it was either swimming or the smokes... for YEARS I chose the smokes. Now, I choose swimming! :) Crave the Quit! Hi Danielle! I havent seen the word, "passions' used on here and passions is truely a great way to describe our rewards! Our rewards and attitudes is what motivates us to get going! We can always improve on both and when they are improved, the whole picture changes!! Passion to me, is a deep love for something. We embrace it!! And as Healer has said to me, "Embrace Your Quit." I love my quit. I am embracing it w/ more passion and more love. I am motivated to continue on--no matter how hard it gets, we must embrace it all that we have---once we do, we have come full circle. I love to dance too!! WOOT!!! Maybe ballroom dancing can be in my future when I hit the 100 day mark?? Twirling and dipping!! OH MY!! Oh, TY Danielle for believing in us. Danielle brought up an excellent point but yet very inspiration to a new member. She said to 'Find New Passions'. Now that you have stop smoking, what are your new passions? Something that makes you excited! My passion as always been cooking w/ my kids! I have always loved them being in the kitchen with me. My greatest passion is knowing I have started on this journey and no matter how hard it is or will be, I know I will have an extra day to be w/ my kids. (I am looking at my meter on how many days I have added onto my life). I have a new passion too since I don't smoke. I love to walk in the early morning. The colder it is, the better I like it. I take my little dog, named Tootsey and I walk for about an hour. Now in december I have another passion but what that is I cannot say...... My boyfriend, he works and lives in Florida comes home for the holidays. We haven't seen eachother for 11 months then. Now who can guess what our passion is???? The winner gets a nice rose. LOL.
