Well today is better than the last 3 days. I have not cried once . The Craving is almost nothing.
I was thinking about how many times I whispered " oh god, i need to stop smoking...help me to quit". It always felt like a fox hole prayer.
Now it has happened. I believe I am an ex-smoker because I realize how INSANE it would be if I were to pick up a cigarette. All those problems I would be signing up for. I now have a Choice. I choose to live.
Thank you all for helping through that tough time... I suspect there will be more to come.
Take a moment to feel our victory and believe in our self.
Cinda

yeah...these lightbulb moments can seem so "duh"...but at the time they seem to be a bit clearer and connected.

When the addiction has a hold of you ... it is hard to see anything. As it lets go, as you make it let go ... a whole lot more light bulb moments are going to take place. It is wonderful and I am so very happy for you ... for everyone that kicks this horrid addiction.

It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......

Cinda is gonna make it this time. I can feel it. I just know it.
Posting here and talking about it.... Cinda's doing all the right things. I don't think the nicodemon can get through the armor. I am impressed!
