Nothing still. Tomorrow I have to go and apply for state aid. The children need health insurance which we can not afford right now. I can't believe I am having to apply for state aid. I pretty much in shock over it. We are still waiting to hear from that company. They have still not come to a decision. In the meantime, he has had 3 other companies wanting to interview him. I sure hope one of these pan out. The income with all of them are good and I'd be able to go back to school this year. In the meantime he has a job. I'm afraid it is not going to cover our bills, but at least it is something. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Lots of stress, still not smoking! Thanks BonBon, You are going to make it through this too. I think this quit will be the one that sticks for you. We just have to keep the faith. It can be hard at times, really hard. But I know in the end we will be rewarded. We just have to be willing to stick with it no matter what. I like your prediction about the jobs by the way ... wouldn't that be great?!! I'd be beside myself if that happened! Thanks for the prayers and well wishes ... keep em' coming. I am still positive and still praying that a door of opportunity will open up for us. Unfortunately, it hasn't yet and our money is running out. It is a scary feeling. I am trying my best to not let the negative emotion get the best of me. Dear Free, I completely agree - this situation sucks big time. I thought you guys were cool when he got that job so quickly - I missed all of this - sorry. I hope that you can get the chance to take some time out for yourself - even just to have a howl at fate. Remember that this is a space in time that you are moving through with every breath and that you will get to the other side (it's just really hard to see when you're in a dark place). I have a strong feeling that things will come good for you & yours and turn a corner, if it hasn't already. (((free))) alison :) Life. Be in it. Hey BF, good luck with the non-safe-zone job. I really feel for you and your hubby. My hubby lost his job when our daughter was 5 weeks old and we had just signed up for our first mortgage. Stress or what? So I really know what you guys were going thru in those first horrible days. Well done on having such fantastic coping strategies. It's great news that he got something else so fast to tide you over - I'll be sending pos vibes for the cool job! alison :) Kick the Herb to the Kerb My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 72 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,163 Amount Saved: $900 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 5 Mins: 14 Seconds: 58
