My baby smells like chocolate cookies!

18 years ago 0 123 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
awww.. that is so adoreable.. there is nothing better than the way babies smell... I can't believe how great my sense of smell has become since I quit.. I can walk out my front door and smell all the plants etc... Can I possible borrow the baby for a while, can't have any more and Emma has grown out of the "yummy smelling" phase and the "sleeping with mummy" phase too.... Makes it all worth the quit doesn't it??? Proud of you (and think of the good you are doing for your kids - kids who's parents quit are statistically less likely to start than kids who's parents haven't) Keep it up angel... I keep shoving my nose in my 13 month old baby's hair and just sniffing him. He smells so sweet - just like chocolate cookies. Last night he didn't sleep well, and got into bed with me and I got to hold him all night long. I didn't have to give him to his dad to hold him because I was neading to roll over and have a cigarette. I didn't start feeling anxious because we didn't fall asleep right away and I was going to be needing a cigarette. I just held him all night... and sniffed his hair. :) ... of course, i need a nap now. LOL! Think i'll take one with the little cookie smelling guy. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 798 Amount Saved: $182 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 5 Mins: 21 Seconds: 15

I am so glad that I wrote this before I lost my marbles yesterday. I kept thinking about all day today when I was ready to give in. Krissy.. he may smell like cookies, but he's sure a stinker! Little trickster and the whole nine yards. I said, "That's momma's little anansi" today and his eyes got real wide and he grinned like "who told you momma?" Then just when i think he's pushed my last button, he grins, hugs me, or tries something new and exciting and get's all happy about doing new things, and I just marvel at him and i'm glad he's here. I sure do wish I had been able to enjoy my other kids this much when they were this age. AAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...I read this early this afternoon at work, but didn't have time to respond. That is soooooooooooo sweet. I have five children, ten the youngest, 25 the oldest. I wished to God that I had quit earlier than now. Cherish those moments...I wish to hell I could have smelled chocolate chips on my babies, but they smelled like cigarette smoke instead! If nothing else...YOU BETTER KEEP WITH THIS QUIT! That baby deserves it...and so do you! ;) Hugs and kisses, Karen

MistyMoon, I think that is the sweetest story I've heard! Aren't you glad you quit? Another great benefit of quitting, thanks for sharing! Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team
