Alley,
You are doing a wonderful thing. It is not the choice of the children to be in the house that they are in. Good or bad.
I understand your stress level, but you know that smoking would make things much worse. Much, much worse.
You are a wonderful sister and Aunt. And believe me, they are lucky to have you. You are a kind person Alley. You always offer a hand in need, and kind words from your heart. God made you that way, and for that we are all thankful. I will pray for you and your sister, and her kids, and her husband. Being an addict is sad, no matter what the addiction is to.
