Happy Sunday to you too Pink. I think that the new Pink sounds great too! I was invited to a friend's baptism today which was new to me. It was really a great service.........so much music and so much spirit........(i guess we're a rather dull bunch in my traditional church) Unfortunately, undone chores waited at home and have somewhat dulled my spirit...but not my commitment to quit... You are so positive...you really inspire me....I'll keep chasing after you! Hi there Pink, It was a beautiful sunday here but now it's almost over. I went for a long walk and the colours of the autumn were really nice, the sun was out and there was a nice cool wind. Isn't a non-smokinglife grand??? I think it is. Bye for now :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 197 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,943 Amount Saved: 581.15 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 4 Mins: 43 Seconds: 32

And it's a beautiful Sunday, indeed! Started off cold with a light frost, then warmed a bit. The trees are full of color. I love Autumn! Happy Sunday to you, as well, Pink! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 37 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,883 Amount Saved: $296 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 21 Mins: 4 Seconds: 50

Oh Pink, I just love your post. I felt like you were speaking for me. To quit smoking, to stop being selfish, to love fully is truly a blessing. A blessing that I am no longer missing out on. And you are right! Life is so much simpler now. Now that we are steering, instead of addiction ... it sure makes life's balance easier to strive for. To quit is to love everything about life more fully. Bless you Pink. Happy Sunday to everyone who around the board today. I am just sitting here thinking how great it is to actually consider myself a non-smoker and actually believe it. I am so thankful for things that I have learned during this quit. First of all I now know how strong I can really be when I make a choice. I now realize how I can truly put the people that I love above myself. I think this was really important for me to realize. It puts in perspective how horrible and selfish the smoking habit really is. I am so thankful for my new friends that I have here, and the support that I have received from this site. Most importantly I love the NEW ME!!! Funny how much simpler my life seems now that I am not controlled by smoking. It makes spending time with my family better and has helped me to see who my friends really are. In a way it has made me all the more determined to succeed in my life. I guess the point of this post is to share with everyone what you feel the most important thing you have learned so far from youre quit. Let's celebrate Sunday as a NEW smoke free day...
