Change in symptoms?

22 years ago 0 4 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have had panic/anxiety for over 20 years and the symptoms are always changing. I think they have affected just about every part of my body at one time or another. I've had heart palpitations too and one thing I did to help with that is to increase the level of potassium in my system. Potassium helps regulate the heartbeat...and you can find natural sources such as bananas and potatoes. I eat about 3 to 5 bananas a day plus take vitamins. My heart has calmed down greatly.

Hi there, I'm also new here, and have just started taking 20mg of Paxil four days ago for GAD. I have had a history of depression and have been on Paxil in the past without any negative symptoms (I'm assuming that you are taking about side effects) that I can remember. Now I am feeling really dizzy, in a fog, fidgety, and worst of all nauseous to the point where I can't eat and swallowing or yawning makes me want to gag. So my symptoms are different now than they were before. Paxil users, will this pass or is this medicine just something my body can't tolerate anymore? Thanks and take care! Marie

I have been suffering for a little over a year, and I find that after I seem to master one symptom another one pops up. For instance I have gone from "lump in throat(throat cancer)" to "headaches(thinking I had a brain tumour" to "muscle spasms(some sort of muscle disease)" which I am trying to overcome

A new member asks "My primary sypmtom used to be irregular heart beats. Now with this bout of attacks, it seems to be dizziness and lightheadedness. Has anyone else experienced a change in symptoms like this?"
