Oh My gosh, I had no idea my gasiness and bloating were related to not smoking!!!! I just thought Heck, I've been Moody, emotional, hateful and hungry, Maybe mother nature just thru in the gas as a cruel joke. I had no idea it was to be expected. I've tried chewable acidophilus. But I don't know that it is actually an acid problem. Nice to hear that there might be a timetable. Was visiting a friend today, and it takes approximately one hour to get from her house to mine. I really worried about getting home okay after we ate some grapes. I'm afraid to go anywhere. Bought ginger root tea today. I'll just see if it has any positive effect on me. It's part of the quit, because your food is moving slower through your intestines and you are getting more nutrition from your food. Your system will catch up and go back to normal. I recomend causing a big stink in every public place you can find, and then walking away. LOL!! But, that's just me... You could try some digestive enzymes.
