Congratulations! I just took my first vacation as a non-smoker too and it was incredible. The freedom from having to smoke is so fantastic! I can't believe I let cigarettes dictate my activities and the things I did. I used to choose what I did based on whether I could smoke or not. Now I can do whatever I want! And the money saved is going towards a cruise next time. I would never go on one because of the smoking. How much I missed....but I'm going to make up for it now! Welcome Back Kare!!!! - WOW what a beautiful picture.... I am So glad you had a tremendous time and also truly enjoyed your first vacation ~ when you're routine is different, like a vacation, (no work, daily schedule,) it makes you appreciate the fact that you don't smoke even more. Wonder why that is (?) It sure allows more time to bask in your quit and be proud. That will be me next week, taking off some time to do as little as possible. Hey kids I think I just did my last first. You know....first weekend not smoking, first time to a bar, first long car ride, first kiss, first........ ;) ;), first time to a bar, first holiday, first party, first airplane ride, first cocktail, first loss (death), first argument....You know all the things we were brainwashed to believe that went with smoking. Well I just took my first vacation as a nonsmoker. And it was better then Fantastic! Also I am convinced that I am DONE with the Nicodemon! Not only am I convinced I am done, I want to shout how happy I am about it! There were no craves at all, just pure joy. Me and you Nicodemon......WE ARE DONE! So for all you new quitters.....Believe me, it does get better. In fact....it gets better then you can even imagine. I am just so thrilled to have this freedom.....I mean FRRRREEEEEDDDDOOOMMM. Besides.........how can you smoke in paradise?.....thats just ewwwwww.
