This stinks. The mood I have been in has not been a pleasant one at all. Haven't jumped down anyone's throat, but on the verge. Nothing but tiredness, irritability, and lack of motivation to do anything. Staying in bed and being left alone sounds like the only good idea at this time. Unfortunately with a family and work that is not an option. Tried with and without the patch, mood is still gloomy, kinda like a cold, rainy day.
After the weekend I had, which wasn't horrible, I decided to call my Doc and go see him on Wed 1st thing. Earliest I can get in there. I am not a huge fan of being medicated, but after reading some posts on here and searching the internet about depression, I feel I am headed on a collision course with either a major run in with anyone that might say the wrong thing and jump down someone's throat and/or some type of breakdown. So medication is probably going to be the way to go whether it's zyban, wellbutrin or electric shock therapy(LOL). Trying to find some light heartedness in the darkness at this time. Seriously, I am sure my Doc will put me on something.
Anything anyone has had success and or failure with any meds they may have took to fight this would be appreciated so I know what I am up against here. Reading articles on the different meds only goes so far compared to real person experience. I am not asking for advice, as I will go with what ever my Doc prescribes, just experiences both good and bad.
I am so glad this site exists to be able to discuss these type of real world experiences.
