I can only share my own experience:
- Before, I used to drink coffee accompanied by one or 2 cigarettes, specially in the morning, after getting up! :)
- When I decided to quit smoking, in the first 3 days, I avoided taking coffee; and drank only green tea, soft drink, cold water, ... (with the help of NRT lozenges & an NRT inhaler to cope with nicotine cravings).
- From the Day 4, I started drinking coffee again, but then, I no longer felt the urge to smoke while drinking it ...
- Now, just like this morning, I drink coffee slowly and fully enjoying it! In fact, coffee now tastes better than before! :)
Of course, other quitters will have different stories to tell you!
