a weak moment

Was feeling like I could easily blow this quit tonight. I just got back from dinner, where I had 2 glasses of wine, loosened me up alittle. I heard some not so good news about my sister's fiancee, just want to get on the phone, have another glass and call my other sister, what did I do on the phone for years??? Need I say more?? I read a few posts, some that lost their quit, they are so bummed-out, I will not do it. Thank- You, Terri My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/28/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 193 Amount Saved: $43.8 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 5 Mins: 59 Seconds: 10

Butterfly Swimmmer, Thank You from the bottom of my heart, that really touched me and was exactly what I needed to hear. I have read alot of posts of people that have smoked and they are so sad, I knew as soon as I got home from dinner I needed to get on here, feeling better and now my 13 year old is kickin' me off, homework. Thank-you! Ter, Good of you to come here FIRST before you smoke!!! Awesome! Here's one more post I want you to read... this is what happens to you after you slip - I should know, I did it and am now here, almost 1 year later, to tell you that it's NOT worth it! Keep your quit at all costs! Thinking about slipping? Crave the Quit! Hi ter724 - It's your Quit, friend, protect it with all you have and it will be there for you... Right now, so soon in your Quit, it's quite vulnerable, so hold it up and away from storms and from anything that can harm it... like a very young child, it needs YOU to take care of it ... We're all right here for you :) Blessings and Light- Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 219 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,694 Amount Saved: $1018.35 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 12 Mins: 14 Seconds: 19

Terri, You did it. You came here, refueled and posted. As a result, you short circuited a crave/trigger. You simply couldn't have done any better. Just keep doing that over and over. It'll get easier and easier. Good goin' and congrats, Terri :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 615 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,317 Amount Saved: $2195.55 Life Gained: Days: 65 Hrs: 4 Mins: 59 Seconds: 16
