Got up on Sunday, by the way marks two weeks, got cleaned up and dressed to go do my running around I had to do. Got everything done, got home helped my wife with dinner and the dishes. Finished up the kids homework with them. Put the kids to bed, my wife and I watched a movie. After all this, I go up to get ready for bed, take my shirt off to pull the patch of my back right shoulder, and to my surprise, I never put one on. The strange part is I did not feel any different yesterday than the days I had the patch on. Using the 14mg right now, and should be stepping down to the 7mg soon.
Today, I came into work without wearing the patch, I did bring one with me just in case I get a real bad crave.
All this just got me thinking that the patch I am sure cuts down on the cravings, but also knowing it's there is like a security blanket mentally. Yesterday I did not think about smoking, subconcsiously knowing that I had the patch on I couldn't smoke. So do I really need the patch for the cravings or for the mental habit.
When I have more time I will search and read some old posts on the mental aspect. If you have any good ones please link them, sometimes I just don't get a lot of time on the computer.
