Hi there, Well, I do ask for help from my spirit guide. I'll tell you about her sometime. My Grandparents, my Mother and I are all from New Mexico - Albuquerque. However, we also have Scotch-Irish in our heritage. How are you? I think the group is doing very well, don't ya' think? Bye for now, am really tired, will write more tomorrow. Take Care, Maria

Hi Maria, This is a lovely poem. I assume you have Native American heritage.. Can you get your Spirit Guides to get you out of the house and to destinations safely? I never visualized the beach in this way. My visuals are more like islands.

Any Day Now. Just wrote a poem Shanty Town By The Sea Shanty Town by the Sea By Maria Oviatt 2-4-02 Stars twinkling through pine boughs on the sea shore Soft ocean breezes blowin€™ on me this shadowy night My old beach bike rides me €˜round the hood This shanty town beside the sea €¦ magic lives Mystic vibrations - they flow through my brain A hidden world long ago €“ blessed by mermaids Golden Dolphins came on shore to play Fragile turtles frolicked before their voyage Shadow people protect the Mother turtle As she has been invaded enough by the pollution She has to wade through to dig her birthing bed Her sandy home has been forever condemned Vultures circling €“ one landed on my porch Blood dripping from his hooked beak His eyes were cold his feathers worn The drums of my tribe began to beat I must run to her side, €œMother Ocean, the vultures came today€¦we are afraid!€ €œA tsunami I will send beneath the starry ski. The shadows will be spared€, she whispered. A soft rain touching my face, just now I breathe in the breath of the waves Looking up through pine boughs, I know The sun is rehearsing, for morning draws nigh. In distance silence beyond my mind I hear the drums of my tribe The Shamens have been watching They are ready€¦so am I.
