Members, It is always important to check with your doctor when considering the use of natural alternatives! For instance, for some echinacea is great for fighting colds but for others with certain conditions it may produce the reverse effect and suppress their immune system. Just like any medication, natural alternatives have the potential to: * Decrease the effectiveness of your medication * Increase the effect of your medication * Interact with your medication and produce dangerous side effects * Aggravate your medical condition or be detrimental to your current state of health * Produce an allergic reaction So talk to your doctor, better to be safe than sorry. This advice: TO CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR is for other "Natural" products as well St Jhn's Wort, Kava or Kava Kava, DHEA Make sure your Melatonin is derived from chemicals and not from the pineal glands of cows

Thank You There are many places where the use of melatonin has been recommended and it is ALWAYS important to check with a medical practioner especially if you are taking other medications. Thank You for letting this information stay visible.
