Hi TYingling and welcome! A great place to start is the depression and anxiety test, which you can access on your program home page:

After you've taken the test take a look at your results and perhaps share them with your health care provider, or feel free to share them here (to make sure you remain anonymous remember to not use your real name or any other personal information).

Best,

Trevor

Hi again and thank you for welcoming me to your wonderful site. I plan to take some time tomorrow to do a read thru. This is some heavy stuff and needs more than a browse. I like it here. I have a fear of driving or being in a vehicle. It came from that car wreck in 1995. I have done well mastering the skills needed to drive again. I had to first start the car and drive a little ways and come home. Each successive day I went a little ****her, until, many monts later, I could drive to where I wanted and/or needed to go. Actually my Doctors played a trick on me, which worked wonders. They enrolled me in a Chronic Pain course at the local University here. So I had to drive in rush hour traffic..Oh, I still don't drive in rush hour traffic..but I did it to get to that class that I so needed desparately. I am still not comfortable in a vehicle, and if I could jump out and be safe I would. hair raising driving here..It is bad..and each time I leave the house I assume I will never come back alive. Will I ever get over this? Red

I wish to extend a warm welcome to all in this forum. You are invited to post messages about mastering your fear. While the fear is specific, you need not feel you have to go into every detail to explain it. Discuss your fears and explore them. Do you have adequate strategies to manage them? Others like yourself may have been there too, and may shed some insights. Welcome! -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator
