On behalf of Jan58, I declare Tuesday, September 26th as "NO HOUSEWORK DAY". To honour my dear friend Jan, I am even going to go to bed without doing my dishes.
Don't you hate it when those cravings/feelings or whatever they are just slam us out of the blue. I hope that tomorrow is a good day and that nasty nicodemon LEAVES YOU ALONE!
Quoting many good SCC friends "Take care of yourself dear one", "This too shall pass" and "one day at a time".
Thinking of you and sending happy thoughts from Canada!
Windy

OK so I knew this would happen one day sooner than later. The worst craving yet! So unexpected. The kind that sends you crashing to your knees. The kind that has you groaning from the tips of your toes. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. This is DEFINITELY not my idea of fun!!! So its back to basics for me, and humbly so. Deep breaths, water. I'm just on my way out with my non smoking friend for tea and then shopping. (Thank goodness for the distraction). And through it all I pledge to remain smoke free today. After all I've invested, I will NOT smoke. This is really tough and it sucks big time, but I've got all you guys to keep me strong today. --THIS TOO SHALL PASS-- I thank the dear Lord you are all here for me. (((deep breath))) Cheers (((deep breath))) Jan.

Thanks so much guys. I'm still coping with this miserable cold so that could have had something to do with it. I really appreciate all the strength your sending my way. I'm actually getting it!! Don't feel quite so bad, and Free, I will not entertain any cravings. I fully intend to spend the afternoon or a good portion of it lying down, trying to beat this cold. I'm a little upset that I didn't do any housework today. But, I guess, it will wait. Right now I am more important!!! Thanks again, Jan

I had several yesterday. So I have had these goofball fresh parm block cheese cravings. So I cut a huge piece off the block, ran upstairs, turned on my meditation cd, and ate the cheese!! HAHAAHAHAH!!! My tongue was sending these sensations to my brain and I thought I was having a euphoric moment!! HAAHAHAHAAHA!!!
I came back downstairs, looked at hubby, and said, "Babe, this cheese is sooooo good!!! I think I am going to toast a bagel w/ some parm cheese!!" He looked at me as if I had lost my noodles!!
I have gone thru 3 wedges in a week!! ROTFLMBO!!! Now I have to go back to the store and buy 3 more!! HAAHAHAHAAHAHAAH!!!
