Welcome back from your big shopping trip Marie. What did you buy us?? You know I can picture myself not too long ago.........travelling for several hours and dying for that smoke break. I figured that I would NEVER get to see Europe because I couldn't handle the flight. Hearing stories like yours helps to reinforce how much we win by quitting. Sounds like you had lots of fun...Okay..now spill the beans..what did ya get??? what did ya get??? By the way, we missed you...Glad to see you back! Hi Marie, Glad you had a great time there. I know life is so much better as a non-smoker. I used to have a bad time when I travelled to Florida, I couldn't smoke for 9 hours on the plane. That's over now too....lol. Have a great day Marie, Hugs from Holland :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 192 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,802 Amount Saved: 566.4 Life Gained: Days: 26 Hrs: 10 Mins: 9 Seconds: 50

Thanks Lady :) Thanks Windy, there's hope and light at the end of the tunnel, I had such a great time. I did all of the tourist things, statue of Liberty, Central Park etc. I bought 2 purses, and a watch, and then I bought trinkets for my girls, t shirts for the guys, souvenirs for my grandson. I spent all of my non-smoking money on fun things instead of lighthing it, how great is that? I plan to continue saving the smoke money and splurge again same time next year to celebrate a year smoke-free.One day at a time :)Marie xx My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 119 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,799 Amount Saved: $476 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 19 Mins: 48 Seconds: 31

I'm back from the Big Apple, wow I loove New-York, what a city. No one smokes inside for sure, THEY'RE ALL OUTSIDE SMOKING. hihihi. Well I have made another non smoking memory. First time on a week-end away from home as a non-smoker , with my 2 smoking friends to boot and hubby of course, but he doesn't smoke. I'm so happy to be a non-smoker, I enjoyed my week-end and I felt so free. I would check people's faces on the tour bus as they waited for a smoke break, they seemed so miserable, the bus stopped for very short periods and they would fit in 2 smokes. In the city every third step I took there was a smoker puffing away, this week-end really reaffirmed my decision to stay quit, I have crossed over to the other side, finally. I felt so sorry for my friends who needed a fix and had to wait all weekend, you can't smoke while walking in N.Y. too many people on the street and the guide wouldn't wait for it, so it was hard on the smokers. It's a great thing to be a non-smoker you get to see more and you have a lot more time to spend hihihih I enjoy being a non-smoker. One day at a time :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 119 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,785 Amount Saved: $476 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 16 Mins: 39 Seconds: 10
