:( Hi I have a great reason not to go back as well. I recived a call from my mother just about a hour ago and she told me a very close friend of hers passed away at 8:52p.m. tonight. This lady was only 56 years young. 2 years older than my mother. She had smoked most of her life, there were other factoers that caused her death, but had she not smoked I belive she would have had a much better chance in fighting. Just think about it, 56 years old I am almost 30, I want more than 26 more years on this earth. For that I am glad my last cig is my last cig. I still need to do some morn this special person, so I am going to call it a night. Stay strong your life is your reward in the end. I can't agree more!!! My withdrawls were so bad that I'm surprised my husband (also a quitter) and son still talk to me. Thankfully for both of them they no longer have to tip toe around me. Remember that there are only two good reasons to take a puff once you quit. #1) You decide you want to go back to your old level of consumption until smoking cripples and then kills you, or, #2) you decide you really enjoy withdrawal and you want to make it last forever. As long as neither of these options appeal to you - NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF!!!! yep! Don't want to go through THAT again, even tho I am not completely off the Nicorette. Don't want no Doc yelling at me, no medical scares please, no stinky clothes to clean again, no house to repaint again, etc etc etc etc ad nauseum :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 123 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,718 Amount Saved: $799.5 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 5 Mins: 47 Seconds: 12

That withdrawal thing is the one that keeps me from another puff, who in their right mind would want to do that again. Thanks for the great reminder.
