So I am new as you can tell by my post title. But I just reached a whole day regardless if my status says i quit today. I had a beginning slip after work, but I made it through ALL of my ten hour work shift. I was even offered a cigarrettte and refused. I don't feel "special" but I feel determined. Someone, anyone, do you have AIM? Because I have a MAC, I cannot download my meter or Messenger...please post if you wanna be my quit buddy. Pinball Congrats on your first 24 hours! Keep up that determined attitude and you will do fine. Sorry to hear you can't use the IM program but feel free to post here anytime you need to. Someone is always here to help you through a difficult time and give an encouraging word. Make it another smoke-free day!
