Thanks chickstarr and Casey for the posts Your posts make sense, it is so itchy so i thought i might have bugs there  as i said i looked and its not really dry either. Thanks for the knowledge about the carbon monoxide leaving casey--it makes sense.. Is carbon monoxide crossing brain and barrier casey?? actually filling up in the brain too?? hope you understand my question?? The dizziness make also sense, but its annoying feels like im going to pass out, scared to drive car actually, and feels really weird "swaying here and there" sort of  What about forgetfulness?? I have today realised i forget things! Is that also normal?? ann My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 347 Amount Saved: $111.3 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 5 Seconds: 30

Hi Ann, Way to go on 7 days! *^$%^##*> hell week is over. I had the dizzies for several days and I had a really itchy scalp as well! Thought it was just me. lol I was wondering if smoking was masking the symtoms of dandruff!! lololol My head is still itchy sometimes, but getting better - no dandruff! alison :) Kick the herb to the kerb. Hi, Aekvall. The dizziness is normal, pretty much every quitter goes through it. The cause is carbon monoxide from smoking is leaving your body. It passes. The itchy scalp I've not heard of. But there are a lot of chemical changes our bodies go through when we quit smoking, so itchy scalp may be one of them. Could it be from all the showers you took fighting craves the last few days? Just a thought. Look at you!! 7 days quit!! That's awesome. Congratulations on getting through hell week. Super job! You need to reward yourself now. You've certainly earned it. Keep up the good quit, Aekvall. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 386 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,728 Amount Saved: $1466.8 Life Gained: Days: 72 Hrs: 0 Mins: 48 Seconds: 20
