Any dentist out there!

Hey, I have a problem. All the candy and gum has made my poor decaying teeth hurt. I can't stand the thought of going to the dentist to get them pulled right now. I am brushing a lot and swishing hydrogen peroxide around. What else can I do? Also need to cut down on the gum and candy? Chew sugar free gum. Swish with ACT and don't forget to floss. I'm no dentist. But this is what I do. mama, The last time I went to the dentist they told me to floss, use soft tooth brush and use a antiseptic mouth wash 2X daily for 30 seconds. It help keep gums healthy. Hello Mama, Looks like I'm the closest you are going to get to a dentist. I have beem a dental assistant for the past 15 years. It make me so sad that so many people are out there living in pain for many different reasons. The 2 biggest reasons I have found are MONEY and BEING SCARED. My best advice is go see your dentist as soon as possible. Do whatever you need to do to take care of the problem. If you need to borrow money then do it. If your scared, reach deep down inside you to try to overcome it. If you can quit smoking you can do just about anything. Time is never on your side when you are having tooth pain. I do not suggest swishing with hydrogen peroxide. It will not give you relief for your pain. It is more for your gums than for your teeth. Plus I think it taste gross. Brushing and Flossing are the 2 best things to do. Swishing with some ACT (a flouride rinse you can get over the counter) Also in my opinion every mom should have there children swish with. It will help to prevent any more cavities. If you think you have an infection or tooth abscess please go see your dentist as soon as possible. It is very dangerous to ignore and should not be put off for any reason.
