How are all the June quitters doing

19 years ago 0 695 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
hi last night i could not get on from 7 until... I had a little pantic attach and went to bed. It's so hard to smoke when you are asleep. Today is another tough day.. I do not have to work and i have so much free time on my hands. Well,I say I have free time, I could wash clothes, clean, organize closets, clean out my dirty car.. It is three days and I am still here. I had some trouble getting on the site last night and for some reason it sent me into a kind of a panic. So I went to whyquit.com and read some stories there. Moderators, did anyone else have trouble with the site last night and could you please give me some other sites I could go to in that instance My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 132 Amount Saved: $17.1 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 8 Mins: 25 Seconds: 36

Well as i mentioned in another posting today or should i say this afternoon is hard its like the cravings are getting stronger, i took my dogs for a walk to try to break up the urges. So here i am now to see if this will help as well, i know the evenings are going to be tough because thats when i enjoyed the death stick the most. so i will have to keep on taking deep breaths more often till it passes i guess and suggestions

That's right oodlechick, keep distractions at the ready. Get outside, do something you love, something for you. Danielle ____________________________ The SSC Support Team

Healthier me, Glad to hear your sticking to your commitment. Replace your old habit with a new one. Do something else at night instead of sitting around thinking about your cravings. Any kind of physical activity will also help diminish some of that nicotine related anxiety. Keep persevering! Danielle ________________________________ The SSC Support Team

You are all racking up the days and should be very proud! I noticed that none of you have joined in the Monday Stats Parade to strut your stats. It's for everyone from 1 Day to 1,000,000 but if you'd rather just poke your heads in here and let everyone know how you are...
