I totally know what you are talking about!! That is me that you described! I am definately more calmer and have more patience with my girls now, than when I smoked!
Just as skidoo said -- except I still beat myself up for being such a bad mom. It sounds so horrible to actually admit that I always put my needs and my addiction ahead of my childrens lives. I won't go into details, but lets just say I was a true addict. I never left my post.
Anyhow, yes, I think this is a new you! Enjoy it! I love the new me, I still have my ups and downs, and my happys and sads, but I feel so peaceful most of the time. I love it.
