somebody once told me......

I was talking to someone and they told me that quiting wasn't that hard as long as you can forgo that first smoke of the day. Now I thought this was kinda funny because I thought of it as "well if you don't smoke that first cigarette, your not going to smoke any because no matter what time it is, the first time you smoke is that first cigarette of the day." so I took this to mean, if you don't smoke a cigarette today you can quit. so duh. Am I the only one that likes this kind of fractured logic? or am I just kinda weird to think this is funny? Well it is easy if you just don't smoke but getting to that point is just a bit difficult! we all have to use whatever method works for us. i don't know.. i spose there's some truth in it. Did this person smoke ?, i mean whats this "wasn't that hard" bit, quitting takes some guts. At the end of the day we're just plain old junkies addicted to nicotine, now thats what i call fractured. Cigarettes Not Smoked

I like twisty logic, Harrow. Try crunching time travel paradoxes, that's a ride! :) That's all it takes to quit - just don't smoke that one cig, don't take that one puff. Easier said than done, I'll admit. But boil anyone's quit down to its essence and that's what you have. Everyone has their own outlook on the situation! Some funnier than others :) Whatever works to keep you quit! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
